Lampre-Fondital's history
In 2006 a new partnership began: Fondital has become the new main partner of Lampre. Fondital heads an European Group that designs and produces aluminium radiators.
Lampre-Fondital's adventure began in a good way, with Franzoi second success in the Italian cyclocross championship, went on in a winning way woth victories bin sprints by Napolitano and Benanti, became rich thanks to the interesting North campaign by Ballan (2nd in Harelbeke, 3rd in Roubaix and 5th in Tour de Flandres). Cunego won 5 races in the first part of the season and obtained the 3rd place in Leigi-Bastogne-Leigi too before finishing Giro d'Italia in 4th position. In Tour de France Damiano excited the fans, conquering the white jersey of best young cyclist and one 2nd place (4 second place for Lampre-Fondital in the Grande Boucle).
The list of victories is completed by Vila exploit in Paris-Nice, by the Italian time trial championship won by Bruseghin and by Figueras's victory in Giro del Lazio and in one Brixia Tour stage.
