Lampre-Daikin
Lampre and cycling: a relationship that went on in the new millenium too. Year 2000 was full of satisfactions for Lampre-Daikin. Galbusera families wanted to reach big targets and so there was the signing of Gilberto Simoni, perfect cyclists for Giro d'Italia: the climbers flew on Giro d'Italia mountains, conquering the Bormio stage and reaching the 3rd place in the overall standing. In the same Giro, Svorada won one sprint in Scalea, while Piccoli is the winner of Milano finish line. Seasonal palmares is enriched by Camenzind victory in Giro del Trentino, by the two victories of Piccoli in Vuelta and by Simoni's exploit on the mitic Angliru climb, by Missaglia who won the World Cup race of Hamburg.
