Lampre-Daikin-Colnago
Lampre was again sponsor of a cycling team in 1999, with an important partner as Dikin was. With ambitious targets and a competitive team mad with a mix of experience and youth, Lampre-Daikin was made to give satisfactions; in addition, Lampre had the honour to see its name on the world champion jersey wore by Oscar Camenzind, who confirmed during the season his qualities winning Giro del Trentino and Tour de Suisse. In Tour de France Lampre was again winning: Mariano Piccoli had worn for several days the king of the mountains jersey, while Dierckxsens won the Saint Etienne stage.
