Lampre-Colnago-Sopron
In 1990 the name Lampre was for the first time on the side of the jersey of Diana-Colnago, team in which Giuseppe Saronni spent his last year as a pro cyclist.
When he stopped to race, Saronni became the trust man to which Galbusera family entrusted the sport management of Lampre-Colnago-Sopron, the new team that brought Lampre in the professional cycling: it was the beginning of a passionate adventure.
"At the beginning it was a tough road, because of the youth of the cyclist and the small general experience - Saronni remebers - However, we really wanted to realize good things and the qualities of the people were great".
Results are immediately good, thanks also to athletes that in the future will become champions (Fabrizio Bontempi, Bortolami, Davide Bramati, Svorada).
